Partnership for Gulf Coast Land Conservation: 8th Annual Conference

The Gulf Partnership’s 8th Annual Conference theme is Best Practices in Landscape Scale Land Conservation. Join us September 27 – 29, 2017 in Pensacola, Florida to connect with funders, network with colleagues, and discover new ways to strengthen your land conservation efforts.

This conference is designed for staff, board members and volunteers of land conservation organizations, as well as landowners, public agency partners, and others interested in protecting land and natural resources. Join us for a field trip to the Gulf Islands National Park, workshops, and special networking events. The conference will feature plenary sessions with nationally recognized speakers, including:

  • Wendy Jackson, Executive Vice President of the Land Trust Alliance;
  • Michael Sharp, Director (AL, FL, MS) and Tanner Johnson, Director (LA, TX), Gulf Environmental Benefit Fund;
  • Ben Scaggs, Acting Director of the Restore Council;
  • Kevin D. Reynolds, Ph.D., Department of Interior Case Manager, Deepwater Horizon Natural Resources Damage Assessment;

Attendees are invited to contact the Pensacola Beach Holiday Inn Resort at 1-850-203-0635 or online to make lodging arrangements. The conference room block code is GPA and there are two room types available: $119.00 per room, per night for bay side rooms with a window view of Santa Rosa Sound; or $139.00 per room, per night for beach front rooms with view of the Gulf of Mexico and a private balcony.

Registration

Early Bird Registration (until August 31) is $100. Standard Registration (after August 31) is $120. The registration fee includes conference materials and all meals, including the Opening Reception and an Evening Social on Thursday. Click here for online registration.
